My name is Stephen Hack and I live in Chicago making arcade games. I spend most of my time playing games, reading books, and riding my bike (which is difficult to do six months out of the year in this town). This site was built to house or document my many extra-curricular projects, interests, and trips, and to fill in for Facebook and Twitter when those services don't meet my needs.
Lately, I have been obsessed with webcomics, chiptunes, and learning Japanese. I'm also trying to learn to cook, though everything I make involves my ridiculous rice cooker.

The Story So Far
Traveled to Tokyo a third time. Learning to cook. Work in progress.
Released Guitar Hero Arcade. Traveled to Toronto after waiting twenty years for the chance. Yankees won the World Series! No roommate for the very first time. Lots of redecorating.
Released Nicktoons Nitro. Took second trip to Tokyo, plus Kamakura and the Tokyo Game Show. Life genuinely awesome.
Finished Fast and Furious: Drift. Traveled to Rome, Hong Kong, China, Tokyo all for first time. Missed living in the city.
Put out Fast and Furious: Superbikes. Moved out of the city to get closer to work and get a garage for my car. Missed suburbia somewhat.
Off to Disney World for the first time since college. Difficult time at work. Confusing year.
Released Fast and Furious, my first game. Went to Vegas for the first time. Started playing World of Warcraft (big mistake).
Adapting to life in the Big City. Transition year between college and real life. Neither here nor there.
Graduated from university. Played a lot of Jet Set Radio Future. Got a job making arcade games and moved to Chicago. Kind of a big year.
